Using my knowledge and prototypes I had designed for two new projects, I put together training videos to be used across all Morrison’s stores, improving the internal training of Morrisons store colleagues.

Once the training programme was complete I was placed on-site at Morrisons head office, and worked as a junior UI developer using React JS, integrated with AWS to create a digital dashboard for the digital support teams.
November - December
Seasonal support at Morrisons. This involved working closely with the customer support centre during the seasonal period to identify, log and help solve technical issues the business and customers were having during that time.

September 2017 - February 2018Quite a simple project, but this was my first look into web design and in effect my first UX role.
I was responsible for modernising the AMCL website to make it more user friendly, simplifying the content whilst not distracting from the brand identity.
This was simply done using a website builder.

Often over-looked, beautiful interaction design is the cherry on top and can be the key to increased conversion. From simple hover effects and micro interactions, to rendering or loading animations. Add some flare to your product.

High fidelity prototyping is my bread and butter. If you want to get an idea as to how your product is going to look and feel once live, or test out some new design hypothesis this is a great place to start.

No Seriously, we have to consider the most relevant technologies for the product. If the bulk of your users are active on mobile devices, design should be prioritised for this technology.

Looking for device or platform specific application design, I have experience with not only Android and iOS mobile and tablet design but also other more niche technologies including bespoke POS systems and Hand Held Terminals (HHTs).

I started my career in tech as a graduate software engineer and briefly worked as a front-end engineer. This has given me a great understanding of how to design with development in mind, I have even build fully working prototypes using HTML, CSS and JS.
